MeLa*MeLa* European Museums in an age of migrations is a four year long research project funded by the European Commission under the Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities Program (FP7th). Adopting the notion of 'migration' as a paradigm of the contemporary multi-cultural world, the research project investigates new roles and practices for twenty-first century museums in Europe.
A visual map of participation within heritageA visual map that systematizes the participatory cultural projects selected for the study of cases within my doctoral research. The goals is to highlight the levels of social engagement that particular modes of participation may promote, in relation to the roles that participants assume during the experience of heritage.
